The Team
The project is being organised by Glenn Treacy, Head of Quantitative Research at ILIM. He's an ex-marathon runner, but has never competed at swimming - in fact he describes himself as only an average swimmer, but he has taken on the responsibility of preparing the team technically, physically and mentally, using an unorthodox approach to swimming known as Total Immersion.
The team is very well represented internally for the challenge ahead with not only those swimming but support staff also. The team consists of people from all levels in the organisation from staff and management to executives and who come from a cross section of the ILIM business from Fund Management, Business Development, Operations and HR.
